Possible Futures

For years, you, our communities, have expressed concern about the impact change and development is having on the Coromandel Peninsula – particularly our coastline and natural landscape.

We know there are already many plans in place at the community, district, regional and national level but the Coromandel Peninsula Blueprint is different. It will bring together all these plans and the thoughts of our communities to ensure consistent planning and decisions for the future.

We have come up with four Possible Futures, representing different ways of managing what can be done on our land and waters. These have been shaped by our key issues.
