- Controlled development may be possible in outstanding landscapes, possibly making it easier to get consent for papakainga housing on Maori land.
- New activities/structures limited in undeveloped coastal waters.
Community Facilities
- Future investment in sport, transport and health facilities, schools and reserves focused on four centres.
- Wharves, boat ramps and marinas in four centres to cater for more boats.
